(The Volcano Crater visit is back)

Visit a second country and Explore Nicaragua’s most famous and beautiful highlights in this One Day tour from Costa Rica!

It is one of the countries with one of the most amazing colonial architecture that has been preserved.

Your day will start with an early pick up at your hotel, then we go to the Nicaraguan border, after the migration process all the fun and culture in Nicaragua will be awaiting for us! Our first stop in Nicaragua will be to have breakfast in an small local restaurant in front of the Nicaraguan Lake where you can observe the two volcanos at Ometepe island that is the biggest island in a lake in the world and is known as the “Sacred Site” where the gods dwelt. After breakfast we will drive trough small villages like Rivas where we will do a quick stop at the cultural plaza, then we will continue to Catarina extinct Volcano lookout Point where you will enjoy an incredible view over the dormant volcano to see the lagoon it has in the crater, here you will have some time free for shopping in the small souvenir tents attended by locals, after this we will visit the city of Granada that is a colonial treasure of the Spanish architecture fully of vibrant colors and a lot of culture to see and learn. In Granada we will experience the Nicaraguan cuisine having a delicious typical lunch at a local restaurant, also will enjoy an unforgettable city tour by the popular Nicaraguan horse carriage and will visit the most iconic cathedral in Nicaragua, as a plus you can visit the chocolate museum or a cigar factory, then we head to the Nicaraguan lake and in a boat trip will explore some the 365 beautiful islands that are called Las Isletas where you will have the opportunity to spot monkeys, different types of birds and many more, then we will go to visit the only volcano that you can see the crater from the top and some times is possible to spot the lava on the bottom. After all this adventures we will be ready to comeback to Costa Rica. It will be a quiet bus ride that you can use this time to get some rest while you get back to your hotel.

- Be aware that you will be visiting a different Country in a bus so it means you will spend a good amount of time on road, also you will have to cross a border twice and do the immigration process so the time on this two places depends on many factors that are completely out of our control.

- If you want this tour private you must specify that on your request to get an accurate price for private service according to the amount of people you have.
- My friend it is important to remember that drones or similar objects are not allowed to cross the border due to Nicaraguan government restrictions.

Price:
-From Papagayo Area $220+tax per person.
-From Dreams Las Mareas $245+tax per person.
-Kids 5 to 9 years old pay $20 less than adults.
-Kids 0 to 4 years old pay half price of adults.

Costa Rica has a 13% sales taxes over the prices that will be added.
